RAID RECOVERY
Raid data recovery services
Recovering data from RAID configurations presents a completely different set of challenges as there are a multitude of reasons which can lead to RAID array system failure. Software issues, transmission problems, hard disk failure and human errors are the most common causes for the RAID file systems to fail. You need help from our expert technicians at DataFirst who are skilled in the proper recovery procedures to recover your data. We can also help with various other data recovery solutions, like hard drive recovery and digital forensics.
WE HAVE A NO RECOVERY – NO CHARGE POLICY.
HOW WE DO IT
RAID configurations that have failed or need data recovery are considered critical in our books and are treated as high-priority situations. So we use a tried and tested procedure that enables our technicians to diagnose, recover and temporarily repair your RAID system with as little down-time as possible. Here is a quick breakdown of the recovery process:
- Initial diagnosis
- A complete and in-depth analysis with specialised equipment
- A FREE RAID data recovery quote is sent to you detailing the cost, probable chance of recovery and estimated time frame
- Once the quotation is accepted we proceed
- If there is mechanical or physical damage, parts are replaced and drives are repaired in our certified class 100 (ISO 5) environment
- Create images if need be
- Rebuild the Array
- Data extraction can then take place
- If needed, reconstruction of the drive image
WE PERFORM RAID RECOVERY ON THESE SUPPORTED CONFIGURATIONS:
We offer RAID recovery from all types of configuration levels including (but not limited to) the most common and hybrids:
- RAID 0
- RAID 1
- RAID 5 +0 hybrid
- RAID 6
- RAID 1 +0 (also known as RAID 10) hybrid
- Non-RAID (These are far simpler configurations that do not offer the redundancy of RAID 1 and 5. The recoveries on non-RAID configurations are less complicated but still require expert knowledge)
WE RECOVER DATA FROM THE FOLLOWING RAID SERVERS:
- Entire ProLiant Series (Compaq)
- Entire Power Edge Series (Dell)
- XSeries, Unix AIX and/or PSeries (IBM)
- Entire line of Gateway products
- All Intel, AMD + More
